The evening of 9-25-14. A bit of assistance from one of the kids in the group, who added the elements in the outer ring. A simple freehand design in the center.

Radiant Scorpion 13

A curious combination of geometrical effects. Was having the odd craving to craft a 13-pointer. Then applied the 'twist': offset the connections to the next arm over. Continued with the twist effect but bent it the other way in the center. A doubling of the spheres and an odd triangle break up the web. Structural lines balance the twist in both directions. 9/18/14.

9-11-2014. San Francisco, California. A rather decent evening. Was out of work early enough to draw a proper chalk circle, thankfully. This one is a loose rendering of a Mayan image carved in stone. The 'Stela 19' image of the Seibal group.
