Sublimation of Coronal Spirit
Photos taken 6-29-15. As I had expected, the super-smooth surface of the sidewalk in this location, though bright and clean, didn't have the grit to allow the chalk material to really stay in place. After a few days this faded effect occurs.

Ultra-Luminal Madrepore
6-11-15. My musician friend Cris was visiting from out of town and shared some tunes with the street poetry group at 16th and Mission. David ran through his chess-themed piece. A fun evening.

Weathered Countenance
Photos from the early morning of June 9th, 2015. I always enjoy seeing the textural effects of the chalk as it gradually fades over time. The dragon feels like an old friend at this point.

Tabula Rasa
Dolores Park in the Mission District, San Francisco, California. The park has been in the process of refurbishment for a good while now. The northern half has a reconstructed field and will be re-opening soon. The upper central area of the park, the top of the steps next to the bridge, has been an excellent drawing location numerous times in the past. I have been eagerly waiting for the chance to draw there again on brand new concrete once the area re-opens.

Minimal Chromatic Dais
6-4-15. My lovely friend Camila accompanied me for the evenings pleasantries. She is an amazing sculptor from Argentina and we were discussing some kind of artistic collaboration on a Thursday poetry night. A minimal design before heading over to the sketch group.
