Work from the day of July 26th.
To my amusement, I was invited to be a 'guest artist' at a local neighborhood 'chalkboard news paper'. And this is exactly what it sounds like. A couple of dudes in a studio/garage, writing up news items on chalkboards. Apparently it was inspired by a Liberian chalkboard news service. The name of their operation, which I like, is "Periodical: Power Outages". Related to one of their first story items, I believe.
I had been wanting to render a woman/bird shapeshifter for some time, and the location was an excellent one. I was satisfied with the white outline, and by the time the sun had set I had filled in a good amount of the color.
