Retrieved Temporal Artifact
Photos retrieved from the archive. An early sidewalk mural done in Monterey, CA on 4th Street where I was living, in 2008 (?). Monterey is a beautiful town, south on the coast, originally colonized by the Spanish. Many lovely historic adobes are scattered throughout; walled gardens and secret courtyards. Living for a while, there, within blocks of the ocean, was a lovely peaceful time. I could hear the crash of waves on a quiet night and had a balcony enfolded by the limbs of a giant Cypress tree.
